Wandering IPs is IP geolocation software. Once launched it monitors TCP connections made to or from your PC, identifies remote IP adresses and then tries to determine their geographic locations. It can be also used to determine the route taken by packets across an IP network. Results are projected on textured 3D Globe that can be integrated with your desktop background. Program makes use of variation of MaxMind GeoLite database which contains over 3,000,000 IP-to-location records and is frequently updated. Version 1.2.9 has fixed minor flaw that caused button panel to go off-screen on desktops with vertical resolution below 1024 pixels and connection Table was filled with garbage when opened while internal TCP/UDP monitor was disabled fixed.
