SourceUSB is a USB 1.x/2.0 protocol analyzer for Windows. The program and analyzer driver monitor USB traffic between the host controller and devices. It analyzes this stream of information and presents it in an intelligent display that brings insight into the USB operations. SourceUSB's capabilities include: capture of enumeration requests, capture triggered by a hot-plug, detailed decoding of USB data structures such as setup packets, URBs, and descriptors, decoding of Hub class and HID class specific requests. Traces are captured to a binary log file which can be exported to XML for post-processing. New in Version 2: lower level driver logging to reveal full details of enumeration; Windows Vista support; context sensitive help for URBs.
