The Aurora XAML Designer is a powerful design environment used by developers and graphic designers to create user interfaces and graphic content for WPF applications. Aurora generates the XAML markup required for use in Microsoft Visual Studio .NET applications or for direct use in WPF applications targeted for the Internet. WPF is a software development platform developed by Microsoft for creating rich software and Internet applications. WPF is available on Windows Vista and Windows XP for Windows development, and will be available as an Internet technology on a variety of platforms in the form of WPF/E.
A major component of WPF is a new markup language named XAML (Extensible Application Markup Language). This new markup can be used for user interfaces in software applications, and form the front end for new powerful Web and Internet applications. Version 2 includes unspecified updates.
