Express Dictate is a computer-based dictaphone that lets you dictate using your computer or a portable recorder. You can then send your recordings to your typist or assistant by e-mail, Internet, or over your computer network. Express Dictate uses digital audio processing and compression technology to record and transmit the audio via the Internet. It also includes many convenient features, such as automatic editing and voice-activated recording. Feature Include, but not limited to: Digital audio recording with superb signal processing quality (32 bit DSPs are used), record to wav, mp3 or dct formats (only dct supports encryption, sender information and notes), automatic non destructive record editing with multiple record modes including record-insert, record-overwrite and record-at-end, voice activated recording so long silences in dictation are not recorded, assign priority to individual dictations, ability to prompt for patient or file data before recording starts.
Version 4.13 is using new dssdec component (instead of dss32) to load DSS files.
