Easily add text capture to your application with the WordScale Text Capture Engine SDK. Captured Text can be saved in plain text or Rich Text Format (RTF) so all text attributes are retained (Color, Size, and Font). Text can be captured from the following applications and window types: Windows application, FireFox, Internet Explorer, Adobe Acrobat Reader (PDF files), Office, Open Office, Command Prompt Windows, Dialog Boxes, and Message Boxes. Text capture is extremely fast using Font Based Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology.
WordScale provides a COM interface which is accessible using: C++, C#, and VB# .NET. WordScale SDK includes a set of APIs to select text from screen using mouse or other pointing device. The SDK comes with complete samples which demonstrate how to use the SDK and its APIs.
