Text Filterer is an advanced desktop full text search tool. TF instantly searches for single words, partial words, word combinations, exact or proximity phrases within hierarchically organized collections of documents. Navigates through the found entries in the text. Also searches by document properties such as the name, type, location, date/time, size, title, and author.
TF supports plain text, Unicode, RTF, XLS, HTML, PDF, and uses MS Word to index DOC and other MS Word supported files. TF can search and extract documents stored in ZIP, RAR, and MHT archives at any level of nesting. TF supports many popular image formats such as BMP, WMF, EMF, ICO, GIF, TIF, PNG, PSD, JPEG, and more. TF can be used as plain text converter for supported document files. What's new in TF 2.9: PPT, PPS and POT, the MS PowerPoint files, are made searchable (provided that PowerPoint is installed on user's computer). Version 2.9.1.12 includes unspecified updates.
