IntelliNumEdit is a .net dll based custom DataGridView control, supporting: all of the usual DataGridView features, such as Data Binding and Column Sorting, PLUS Column Filtering. Each column header displays a drop-down button, which when clicked allows the user to filter the data in the grid. The User may filter on multiple columns, and can change or remove filters at will. The control intelligently supplies either a drop down list of set values based on data in the column (where there are less than 100 unique values to choose from), or if there are more than 100 unique values will present a text box for string columns to allow a %like% match (case insensitive), or for numeric columns the intelliNumEdit control is presented to allow entry of an exact numeric figure.
Filtered columns are indicated by an orange check in the drop down button of the column header. Simply save the DLL, use the component manager of your language to browse and add it to the toolbox.
