SimpErhu package enables a user of Microsoft Word to create professional quality, editable Jianpu or Numbered Musical Notation document with ease, with Erhu's specific use in mind. The SimpErhu true type font was designed for Erhu scores so it contains many Erhu specific symbols. The accompanying Word template file contains powerful character manipulation codes written with MS Office Visual Basic for intuitive and fast input.
SimpErhu Features: What You See Is What You Get typing/editing. Easy commands via keyboard shortcuts for fast score input. Variable character width and height to achieve layering effects within a single line. Powerful Ctrl+Arrows keyboard commands to adjust character/symbol length/position on the fly. Score Transpositions between Movable-Do solfege and Fixed-Do solfege system. Version 4.5 solved compatibility issues with Chinese language input systems, many improvements over the font characters and input methods were made in this version.
