A black & white intoxified, moviesque image. A half-focused view. A drugged main character in a Private Dick (Investigator) movie. With a '70s' photocopier, twenty years later their child repeats. A large space, well lit, a woman or a plant, hourglass figure dead ahead. The large column could easily get in the way. The large space possibly available to the left. An injection of truth serum, or a Mickey Finn (chloral hydrate), and a Saturday Night Special, .38 calibre revolver would fit straight in. A classic human state. A play on shadow and dark form.
Technical Details: The photograph used in this artwork was taken in the mid-2000s, in a large, '60s' built, unique, concrete building in London Zoo, UK. Medium was digital camera. A great open space, well lit by skylight yet dark, minimal lights, within. Smelt strongly of animals. The building included Alice in Wonderland style small doors, alone comparitively sizeless.
