The LoseThos Operating System 4.02

LoseThos is to operating systems what a tree house is to houses -- no plumbing (networking), you can easily modify it and it's neat. It won't be your primary residence. It's 64-bit, open source, public domain, and free. It's for a niche - people who program for entertainment. It is not a Windows wannabe. The envisioned usage model is like that of a classic Apple II or Commodore 64. It has no security and allows full access to memory, I/O ports and all assembly instructions from your programs. Now, the average programmer has rights normally restricted to system programmers. What's more entertaining than tinkering with kernal ideas or playing around with multicore? You can write games, but I like system programming. It's a way simpler operating system than others and unlike Linux, the average person can understand the code.
Version 4.02 has meta data for classes, a lite editor for recovering from start-script errors, and more demos.
