Text Filterer

Text Filterer is an advanced full text search tool for Windows. TF instantly searches for single words, partial words, word combinations or exact phrases within hierarchically organized collections of documents. Navigates through the found entries in the text. Also searches by document properties such as the name, location, date/time, size, title, author, etc. Search queries are created as persistent filters that may be reused in different work sessions. TF searches in plain text files, RTF, XLS, HTML, PDF and Unicode files, and uses MS Word (if installed) to index DOC and other MS Word supported files. With Excel files, TF instantly searches multiple files for data by Excel columns and rows presenting search results in one view. For a collection of documents having distinguishable pieces of data, similar across the collection, you can create user-defined data fields to make TF selectively search inside those pieces of data. TF can be used as plain text converter for supported files.

Version 1.6 can search in MS Excek files. Users can search for data either by entire files as usual, or selectively by Excel columns and rows.
