The Java IDE is an easy-to-use, yet fast development tool. 100% Java - with one small jar file you can be up and running in just 1 minute from now. Features include color syntax, code folding, and syntax checking. Plus Round-Trip UML-Java functionality (optional) with automatic synchronization, and Multi-User functionality (ideal for universities and colleges). The IDE includes an Integrated Web Server and a Web Browser for easy servlet and JSP development (see run-time exceptions in your source code; the server automatically updates when source code is recompiled), and an integrated Database for straightforward JDBC-SQL application development.
Other highlights are Code Completion, Quick Insert of common expressions, Integrated JavaDoc and API Guru; Framework Code generators; Drag and Drop Swing GUI Builders and Tracing. A set of Java tutorials with accompanying source code in ready-to-run projects is also included. Version 7.3 has run-time tracing feature.
