Bitmap To Icon is a utility that loads a Bitmap into memory and allows it to be saved or appended as an icon as long as it is in one of the following formats. Windows Bitmap. Size: 16 x 16 pixels. 32 x 32 pixels. 48 x 48 pixels. 64 x 64 pixels. 72 x 72 pixels. 128 x 128 pixels. 256 x 256 pixels. Color Depth: 1-bit - 2 Colors. 4-bit - 8 Colors. 8-bit - 256 Colors. 24-bit - 16 Million Colors. You can also specify a transparent color to create a mask that will allow portions of the icon to be transparent.
